We were employed to remediate a former animal feed warehouse in Cullingworth for a new housing scheme for Avant Homes, we did a full turnover of the site removing any old relic foundations, lifted the slab area on site and crushed the hard material to then use as back fill for the site, the site was then vibro piled, the job took 11 weeks from November 22 through until end of February.
We were employed by Keepmoat Homes to strip all site vegetation, full site remediation, break up all hard surfaces and process using a crusher to reinstate the site with the processed material, full turnover on site removing any old relic foundations from the former train yard site, build up the levels on site and install piling mats
VPH Earthworks Ltd was the main earthworks contractor for BCE Northern Ltd (Principal Contractor) on the Project for Leeds Bradford Airport (The Client) for a new car parking extension. The works had to be undertaken during the winter months for completion in the spring of this year. As can be seen from the photographs, we worked even during the snow and completed the project on time for the client. The works had been adjacent to the airport runway, and therefore health and safety was a major factor in undertaking the works safely, with the works being completed with no incidents.
